Log a round
Round ended without Mah Jongg
Neither one changes any score. The round is logged so the count of hands stays right.
The number printed next to the hand on your card.
A joker exchange that completes the hand pays like a pick from the wall.
Count the jokers in the hand when Mah Jongg is declared. Singles and Pairs hands never get the jokerless bonus.
Your house rule. Turn it off under House rules if your group scores these normally.
A player error led to this win
The player at fault pays four times the hand value. Nobody else pays.
House rules
Defaults follow NMJL-style American Mah Jongg scoring. A change applies to every round logged from then on.
Singles and Pairs hands do not get the jokerless bonus either way.
Some groups make a player pay for the table after discarding the winning tile to a hand with three exposures. This is not the standard rule.
List players in seating order, going to the right from the first East. The tracker moves East for you. Keeping East after a win comes from other kinds of mahjong, not the American game.
Playing with three or five?
The standard game is four players. These are variants for when the group is a different size.
After that, everyone takes a turn out in order. The tracker keeps count.
Standard settings follow NMJL-style American Mah Jongg. Options marked House rule are common variations and are not presented as standard League rules.
